Proceed to the end, (approx. 2.6 miles) turn right onto NY 27A West/ E.
Main Street/Montauk Highway. At second traffic light, turn left onto Fire
Island Avenue. The village Knitter is on the immediate right.

Here at the Village Knitter, a growing yarn shop located in the heart of
historic Babylon Village, we are always looking for the Next Big Thing.
Be it a new yarn, pattern, design, technique or gadget, we enjoy being
the first to offer our appreciative customers the chance to "touch and
feel" something that perhaps they've only seen online or read about in a
magazine. We are open six days a week and would love to have you
stop in to say hello and perhaps share your latest knitting project with us.
We may be small but our shelves are always overflowing with a large
variety of interesting yarn and exciting ideas about what to do with it all!

Whether you've never held a pair of knitting needles or you're a
seasoned pro, we're certain you'll find something new and exciting at our
shop. We are committed to providing knitters (and crocheters, too!) a
unique selection of yarns, patterns, fibers, gadgets and gizmoes, in
addition to unparalleled customer service, ideas and inspiration.

     THE VILLAGE KNITTER HAS A NEW HOME-
          AND A MOVING SALE TO BOOT!!!!!

As of July 1st, we will be re-locating just around the corner to 59
  West Main Street, Babylon. Set back from the busy street (and
   down the alley just west of Old Town Hall), our new location will be
   bigger and better than ever. With more space for classes, new displays
   and casual knitting. we are looking forward to great things. Look for an
   expanded class schedule, a brand new gift gallery consisting of unique
   handmade items, and of course MORE YARN!!!!

In the meantime, we will be hosting a CLEARANCE SALE OF 20% OFF
  EVERYTHING IN THE STORE for the month of June until we move. Do
